Michael is a Specialist Sports & Exercise Physiotherapist with a sub-speciality in knee conditions. Michael is one of only two Knee Specialist Physiotherapists in Australia.
With almost 40 years experience, Michael has a wealth of knowledge in treating sporting injuries, particularly lower limb and knee injuries. With his background in human movement, Michael has elite skill and expertise in analysing biomechanical issues and lower limb dysfunction.
Michael held the Physiotherapist/Head Physiotherapist role at St Kilda Football Club for 15 seasons, and has worked on multiple AFL representative teams internationally. With this experience, Michael is an expert in treating all sports injuries including contact, overuse and post-surgical (ACL, dislocation) injuries.
Michael most enjoys treating knee and lower limb injuries, and sharing that expertise to the next generations of physiotherapists internationally. Michael presents his own courses across Australia and internationally (Asia & Europe), and has presented at conferences for Sports Medicine Australia and the Australian Physiotherapy Association.
Michael has a passion for providing second opinions on persisting sports injuries, to return individuals back to exercise and sport.
